A early newsletter, in which we want to inform you about the software in August. As mentioned in the previous newsletter, August was a turbulent month, which resulted in the activation of our first stop loss of 20% in the software. The stop loss is a limit that indicates the maximum amount that can be lost at once and is an important part of our software management. What does this look like?

Since the beginning, almost €5000 has been made in profit on the account with a minimum deposit of €2000,-. In fact, if we had left this deposit in your account since the beginning and had it compounded, we would have made a return of €14,000. Unfortunately, we had to take a loss of €375 at the end of August. We assume that this loss can be quickly made up based on previous results, although this is no guarantee for the future.
After taking this loss, our software team conducted a comprehensive analysis to understand how this could happen. The loss was mainly due to the stock market crash on the Japanese stock market, which could not be prevented. As a result of these events, we have made adjustments to our software. At the moment, we have staked the USDCAD trading pair. Instead, we’ve divided our software into two profiles, each with two trading pairs.
Profile 1, InnoVento Alpha; tradingpairs AUDUSD and EURGBP
Profiel 2, InnoVento Bravo; tradingpairs EURUSD in USDJPY
Profile 3, under development.
The reason for this adjustment is that we want to further reduce the risk to a stop loss of 10%, but now per profile. In this way, we prevent all pairs from being closed by one pair due to a 20% stop loss, where a pair can be closed while it is not in a critical position. The specific pairs per profile have been chosen because they do not have a correlation with each other and therefore cannot be in a critical position at the same time.
Many positive developments have arisen, partly due to the loss incurred, in which we as a team do everything we can to make automatic trading as carefree as possible.
